A Little About Rikk

You wanna know a bit about the founder and reviewer of Rikks Revues, this is the place....

Just a short bit about me........Rikk Matheson.....

I've been around music my whole life . My mom is a great singer , kinda like Loretta . My brother was always playing and singing , I listened (no musical talent for singin' or playin'). I listened to the radio , to records , 8 tracks, cassettes , now CD's . God ain't life grand!

I was blessed to work in radio for a long period of my life, I've done it all there... Not bragging , but it's true . I was morning announcer , afternoon announcer, morning side kick (yeah , I do have a sense of humor , not shared by everyone.....), I was music director , program manager , and promotions director . {I still prefer the term DJ to announcer , but oh well. I have written music revues for different magazines , newspapers ,and publications I have managed a few individuals and bands that shall remain nameless . 

Rikks Revues started out as a vision of Rikk's to bring the very best music to the public, Indie Music and established and major Label Releases, weeding out the mundane. It was all done by Rikk (except for the graphics) in  the beginning, then Rikk even started doing all the graphics and designing. 

Since it's inception , RR has now also added more reviewers to the staff, and Rikk continues to be the webmaster, Designer, Graphic Artist,  and Music CD DVD and Movie review writer for RR (Rikks Revues). Now Rikks Revues has also branched off to include a new Indie Music Store "Music Utopia" and a community where artists and fans can write and post their own reviews, Independent Artists and Bands can let fans know about new releases and Gigs, and basically anything Music Or Movie related in nature is game at Music Chat. RR (Rikks Revues) is in this for the long haul, I hope you like the design changes as they are happening, and enjoy, and hope ya keep coming back for more great Music Reviews, Movie Reviews, Music News, Movie News and more!
