A Christmas Carol - Original - B&W

Charles Dickens' classic tale that has been used and updated many times. The 1951 A Christmas Carol movie is still one of the best visualizations of the classic tale ever produced. Many have hailed Alastair Sim as the quintessential Ebenezer Scrooge. (This version of the film AKA "SCROOGE")

A Christmas Story - 2 Disc Special Edition

1983 film about Ralphie Parker (Peter Billingsly) and his Christmas wish of receiving a Red Ryder BB Gun. Convincing the adults in his life he won't "Put His Eye Out" is difficult, but the humor in the film adaptation of Jean Shepherd's novel makes one of the best Holiday movies that is now available in a 2 disc collector's edition DVD.

It's A Wonderful Life - Original - B&W

One of the most treasured Holiday movies. This is one of Jimmy Stewart's best performances.

Miracle on 34th Street

Miracle on 34th Street has been warming hearts and helping people get back into believing in the Christmas Spirit for many years, and will for many more to come.

White Christmas

Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye share the billing here. White Christmas is a great musical, actually a love story. The fact that Christmas happens to be in the title and that a Christmas production is being planned make this one of the most loved musicals for the holiday season.

The Bells Of St Mary's

Bing Crosby stars as Father Chuck O'Malley in this holiday favorite. The Catholic school needs a new building, and what happens throughout takes the story line in some interesting directions.

An American Christmas Carol

Henry Winkler does a superb job in this reworking of the Charles Dickens classic, this time around set, of course, in the USA.

Christmas In Connecticut

Not one of my top picks as the story line is very light. The thing is the Holiday classic does appeal to many and will continue to be a Holiday DVD Movie Classic. Starring Barbara Stanwyck and Dennis Morgan.

Going My Way / Holiday Inn 2 Disc Set

Bing Crosby Stars in both films here... In Going My Way as Father Chuck O'Malley. Holiday Inn is a Holiday Love Story favorite.

Scrooged

Bill Murray helps us laugh it up with the help of Buster Poindexter and others in this modern day "Christmas Carol" that may not be as intense as the other versions, it still has great moments.
