Well, it's almost that time, Fan Fair 2004, or the CMA Music Festival if you prefer is almost upon us! Hey, this year Rikks Revues (Well me, Rikk Matheson) is going to be there and strolling around looking for all the happenings so I can report them back to you. I will have my camera in hand and a notepad, maybe even a small recorder for interview purposes. This is my first trip to Nashville in quite some time, and my first ever adventure to Fan Fair (OK, I am used to the name it always was, sorry) CMA Music Festival 2004! It is going to be a rip-snortin' good time, and I will try and keep you up to date on my concert experiences, my star sightings and all the good stuff that goes along with the biggest culmination of Country Music stars and Fans in one place, boy it's gonna be a crazy one but it will be a hoot too!

Well I have told you how excited I am to be a part of the festivities, and who knows maybe we will bump into each other there too! This year the CMA Music Festival, Fan Fair 2004 is going to be filled with the biggest stars in country music along with some good old-timers, and some fresh new blood on the Country Music horizon!

From the very first winner of Nashville Star 2003, recent Gold Record achiever Buddy Jewell, the gal that is the phenom and has her first #1 single off her debut album, Gretchen Wilson, the Redneck Woman herself will be there this year. Pat Green, the latest winner of the CMA Award for top new artist Dierks Bentley. And that's just a start, last years 2nd a 3rd place finishers in Nashville Star john Arthur martinez as well as Miranda Lambert will be lighting up the stage. Miranda just got done recently putting the finishing touches on her soon to be released CD, and jAm just released Lone Starry Night for Dualtone records.

I cannot possibly tell you every act that is to be there, I will list a few more and give you some links at the bottom of the page where you can find out more information on CMA Music Festival, Fan Fair 2004. If you are planning to attend, be sure to have your camera on standby and extra batteries for your camera at all times, you wouldn't want it to go dead as Tanya Tucker walks by, now that wouldn't be a good thing, would it ?

The Stars will be shining brighter than ever in Nashville for the biggest country music event of the year to hit the streets and stages. There will be nightly concerts at the Colliseum, featuring everyone from Uncle Cracker to Martina McBride.

CMA Music Festival, Fan Fair 2004 runs from June 10th to 13th, but the fun will start happening early, and go on after some of the not so hardcore country fans go home. This year there will be a carnival with rides as well if you feel so inclined, or your kids say "I'm bored there's nothing to do" you can have Dad or Uncle Charlie take them, while you keep scouting for star sightings and taking in some sweet country music!

Charlie Daniels, Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Andy Griggs, Lonestar, The Mavericks, Jo Dee Messina, Montgomery Gentry, Joe Nichols, Rascal Flatts, LeAnn Rimes, Sawyer Brown, Keith Urban, Phil Vassar, Clay Walker, Jimmy Wayne, Mark Wills, Lee Ann Womack, Darryl Worley, Wynonna and more will all be there.

Some of the events I am looking forward to are the meet and greets with rising stars Chris Young and john Arthur martinez , the autograph hunting and much more.
