Columbo - Season 2 - Complete Second Season DVD set

You know, since DVD started becoming mainstream you could almost see this coming.... Well, I mean they started with VHS, but the tapes were really big and bulky, and there really weren't that many shows that really made the transition well. With DVD, TV shows make the transition much easier, the discs are thinner, the packaging is smaller and much easier to store. You can store a whole TV Season on DVD easily and with as much room as it may take to store maybe 3 VHS tapes at most, alot of the Seasons can fit in a space the width it would take to fit ONE VHS tape, or less.

Peter Falk's trenchcoat wearing sleuth is back for season 2 of Columbo on DVD from Universal. Let me get this out off the bat.... The 4 DVD set of Columbo does NOT include any bonus features. This being said, it is still a great TV on DVD set for any fans of the almost dumb-sounding, and sometimes acting detective. The Columbo character was designed to come off looking like a dumb inner-city homicide cop, who actually had the cases figured out long before the famous "Just one more thing" line was muttered. 

Peter Falk's character is spectacular, and is just as good a watch for mystery buffs as it was in the early 1970s. Think you can figure out these who-dunnits before Columbo, probably since we see the murders at the beginning of each episode, but the cigar toting detective will have the murderer's stumped. They always think they have committed the perfect murder, until near the end of the show! Great watch, just no bonus features!
