This is where it all began. Season one of the show many thought wouldn't last, but many viewers knew there was something special about this show. Water Coolers were a-buzz with chatter mornings after each episode of Fear Factor, and the phenomenon began.

Hosted by Joe Rogan (News Radio), Fear Factor so called "stunts" covered all aspects of fears and phobias which not everyone could handle. From fear of heights, rats, testicle and beetle eating, snakes and more. Sometimes stunts would register a 10 on the gag-o-meter, and sometimes they were just plain scary that people in their right minds would never do, unless of course for money.

Fans will love the show and those who aren't fans may not care as much for the show may not need the DVD. Fans can watch over and over, but if ya aren't into Fear Factor, one time viewing will be more than adequate. Enjoy, care for another helping of sheep's eyes anyone? If so, maybe fear is not a factor for you.

  Press release... In each pulse-racing 'Fear Factor' episode, contestants (sometimes solo, often paired with spouses, siblings or best friends) recruited from across the nation must decide if they have the guts and determination to face their most primal fears. Under the supervision of professional Hollywood stunt coordinators, contestants are confronted with a series of challenging stunts. If they complete their task they advance; if fear stops them from completing a stunt or they fail the mission, they are immediately eliminated. The contestant who wins the final challenge takes home the prize.
