Sadly in late Nov. 2003 Country Music lost Gregg Gorman to a stroke.

OK, so I get an email that says they (Campfire Records) have the best damn songwriter in Texas. Well, as you may be able to imagine so many people think they have the "ONE", and it usually doesn't happen that way..... Usually.... I cannot say Gregg Gorman is the best songwriter in Texas, but he is for sure ONE of the brightest in the Lone Star State. You take (vocally) equal 
parts of early Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, and somewhere in between is Gregg Gorman. As far as songwriting, well take country story telling of Tom T. Hall, add in some of Bob Dylan's masterpieces, and the classic country sound, stir in some alt. country attitude, and there is Gorman....

A great mix of Americana, roots country, classic country style, folk, and new hillbilly attitude bring forth the original sound of Gregg Gorman and Hemingway's Own Gypsy. As much of a flashback as it is a premonition of things to come in the country scene. A smooth blend with wonderful guitar work, catchy tunes, and some of the most pleasant and refreshing vocals in some time.
