Law and Order The Third Year DVD Review

Probably my favorite season of Law and Order's earlier years. I mean this is where we finally get to meet Lennie Briscoe for instance. Jerry Orbach arrives in the third year, and immediately commands attention from the already loyal Law and Order viewers. The ripped from the headlines stories, and the superb acting ranks Law and Order at the top of the heap when it comes to Television crime dramas, and there are a few good ones.

Law and Order fans have been waiting for this to come out on DVD, and are going to cherish this collection of the entire third year. Compelling, and at times a bit risqué is exactly what makes Law and Order king of the nighttime television crime world. I would have liked to see a bit more in the bonus features area, but just the same, Law and Order proves in the third year that it isn't going to take a back seat to any other crime-drama.
