TV on DVD review - Monk Season 3

Season 3 of MONK starts off exactly where season 2 left off, and for those of us that were left wondering, that is a good thing. The question is if MONK does find out who killed his wife and why, will he change, will his phobias vanish? As far as the first part, you'll have to watch, but as for his phobias, well let's just say that through the season we've actually added a few more to the mix. Monk is as neurotic as ever, and in season 3, Tony Shalhoub is absolutely brilliant, even when a few of the story lines are a little weak.

Bitty Schram is back as Sharona, and I have to tell you she gets better each episode. Playing Monk's assistant who has to put up with all the quirks and obsessive behavior has got to be tough, but the casting department found the right gal for the job. Guest stars on MONK Season 3 include Judge Reinhold, Glenne Headley, Carmen Electra, James Brolin, Faith Prince and others. Mystery fans will be sure to love MONK, a breath of fresh air in the genre, a unique sense of humor along with some intelligent storylines continue to help position MONK at the front of the pack.
