Meryl Streep plays a hilarious role in PRIME as the mother of a 23 year  old painter (Greenberg) who dates a 37 yr. old Single woman. You can imagine some of the hilarity involved as these three generations of misfits clash. Between a 23 yr. old "kid" and his video games, not to mention immature friends, a 37ish gal who really wants to settle down, and the boys mother who is also the woman's (Uma Thurman) therapist.

There are a few slow moving places in the movie, but for the most part this one is right on track. PRIME is probably the brightest romantic comedy I have seen since Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. This is a great chick flick, but the guys, although they may not admit it, are going to like this just as much as the gals.

Synopsis:
