Quantum Leap Review

When Quantum Leap first aired it had baffled the television viewing audience. Sci-Fi fans were lost as it wasn't a true sci-fi show, and non-sci-fi viewers were confused as to why they were enjoying a science fiction show.  Well it really didn't take rocket science to figure it out. Quantum Leap was a show with a foot in Sci-Fi and another in plain good-old television. I mean really, some of the younger viewers were even getting into history, and seeing how events unfolded in the real world by doing some research after an episode.

So while taking Dr. Samuel Beckett, a Hologram named Al and a computer named Ziggy may sound out there, it made for one of the most thought provoking shows of it's time as it got viewers thinking about what exactly could happen if we actually could travel back in time and change history. Quantum Leap was one of those shows that could appeal to many different television viewers, Sci-Fi fans, Drama and comedy were all added into this ground breaking and Emmy award winning show. It is just as much fun today as it was when first aired. Quantum Leap Fans would have liked to see some bonus features, but since the entire third season is in here, it's still a great pick.
